Our story began in Auburn, Maine, as Maine Gas Service, providing sales and service to home propane customers. From those modest beginnings, we expanded to a company serving multiple industries with 17 operating locations and two fill plants.
We are born, bred, and built in New England. We operate with the reliability and scale of a global company, but with the soul and mentality of a small local business. We never forget our roots and who we exist to serve.
From Maine to Connecticut and servicing Rhode Island and New York, our reach continues to expand. As we grow, we take pride in providing quality and expertise in every new location we service.

Maine Oxy donates to various non-profits throughout the year in the New England area to give back to the communities we serve. In 2024, Maine Oxy raised $1.2M for the Travis Mills Foundation. The foundation supports veterans and their families through various programs at their facility in Rome, ME.
